Josh Wink

Philadelphia-born Josh Wink is one of the true pioneers of techno, house and acid house. A main player in the underground since the late 1980s, his 1995 acid classic "Higher State of Consciousness" remains one of the most recognised electronic records ever made. He founded Ovum Recordings in 1994 with King Britt — a label that has released work from Loco Dice, Marc Romboy and DJ Pierre — and continues to push the genre's boundaries more than three decades into his career.
